Comparativ cu alte state dezvoltate din vestul Europei la noi este implementat sistemul DVB-T2 pe cand la ei a ramas in continuare DVB-T.La ei numarul programelor este de ordinul zecilor ,pe cand la noi sunt decat 9. Desi numarul programelor nu este foarte mare sistemul DVB-T2 asigura receptionarea optima a programelor romanesti de interes general fara plata vreunui abonamenamet sau taxa.Imaginea digitala receptionata de aceasta antena este aceeasi cu imaginea de satelit,neexistand “purici” sau “dubluri”.
Aceasta antena se poate instala impreuna cu un receptor digital terestru (SD sau HD) pentru televizoarele din generatiile anterioare sau fara receptor digital terestu pentru televizoarele noi.Este ideala pentru receptionarea canalelor TVR 1,TVR 2,TVR 3,TVR HD,TVR Craiova,TVR Cluj,TVR Iasi,TVR Târgu Mures,TVR Timisoara care sunt disponibile momentan. Daca televizorul dumneavoastra este compatibil DVB-T2 veti putea receptiona programele mai sus mentionanate.
Conform sitului oficial radiocom acoperirea DVB-T2 la nivel national este de 99º/º.

Marele castig al televiziunii digitale terestre fata de cea analogica este ca a fost eliberata banda de emisie.Daca inainte televiziunea analogica folosea un canal tv ( exemplu canalul 21 ) pentru un program,cu DVB-T/T2 pe acelasi canal se pot transmite pana la 9 programe ,cum este in momentul de fata.Un alt castig este faptul ca se poate monta impreuna cu o statie tv cu iesire DVB-T sau impreuna cu satelit intr-un multiswich,intr-o distributie tv.
In majoritate aceste antene sunt model Yagi pentru exterior,dar exista si modele de interior cu amplificator,acestea din urma folosite in orase.Speram ca in viitor sa apara si alte programe,poate chiar si pachete codate.
